Marianne is a seasoned, sociable, down-to-earth, and reliable PR professional who founded De Bruijn PR in 2016 after more than 15 years as a PR consultant with Creative Venue and ACA Communications in Amsterdam. Passionate about PR, she leads the agency with dedication, working closely with both small and large clients.
Marianne enjoys diving into new, often challenging topics. She lives in the picturesque village of Den Ilp near Amsterdam with her boyfriend and son, speaks four languages, and loves staying active through sports.
Driven by her passion for communication, Charlotte works as a mid-level PR Consultant at De Bruijn PR. She has a background in International Hospitality Management from Leeuwarden University of Applied Sciences and lives in Amsterdam with her boyfriend. Thanks to her experience in (international) hospitality PR, she has a passion for creating meaningful stories.
Besides storytelling, her greatest interests are food, drinks, and travel; she thoroughly enjoys discovering new culinary hotspots around the world. Whether it’s an evening of elaborate cooking or a game of paddle tennis, Charlotte makes everything a party.
With several years of experience in both B2B and B2C PR, Laura is passionate about her work as a PR Consultant at De Bruijn PR. From developing strategic and creative campaigns to organizing events, Laura is energized by projects where, as always in PR, connecting people, brands, and stories takes center stage.
With a background in Business Studies and a specialization in entrepreneurship, Laura combines her eye for detail with a strong interest in communication and innovation. During her studies, she entered the PR world, which marked the beginning of
her passion for the profession.
In her free time, she enjoys dining at a good restaurant or enjoying drinks with friends. Discovering new places, both in the city and around the world, energizes her. In the summer, she can also be found regularly at festivals, always up for good company and a pleasant atmosphere.
Noor works enthusiastically as a Junior PR consultant at De Bruijn PR. In the summer of 2025, Noor completed her Master’s degree in Information and Communication Sciences (specializing in Journalism) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She previously completed her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. This combination ensures that Noor feels at home in the business world, while also developing a strong affinity for storytelling and discovery.
Her curiosity drives her to always understand the context behind topics. With her roots in Groningen, Noor is down-to-earth, but certainly not unworldly. She loves to travel and discover new cultures; she has already seen a lot of the world and enjoys sharing her experiences. She also recently took a storytelling course with National Geographic.
Outside of work, Noor doesn’t shy away from a sporting challenge: she can regularly be found running along the Amstel River or playing tennis and paddle tennis.
An energetic and creative designer with a passion for clean design and powerful visual storytelling. Daan has over fifteen years of experience as a graphic designer, DTP specialist, and presentation designer, both within agencies and as an independent professional. She combines a keen eye for detail with a practical, down-to-earth approach, helping brands convey their message clearly and visually attractively.
She lives in Sydney, Australia, with her husband Peter. Thanks to the time difference with the Netherlands, she can sometimes meet those tight deadlines while you’re fast asleep. Outside of work, she enjoys sports, traveling, dinners with friends, and a good glass of wine — preferably somewhere on a sunny terrace.
For many years, Marije has been our trusted partner for media and presentation training, and she also supports De Bruijn PR in crisis and issue communication. She began her career as an international journalist at NOS, but has since become an expert in media and presentation training for businesses, government organizations, and the healthcare sector. Marije lives in Deventer, but is often on the road for training sessions and online workshops, which she delivers fluently in Dutch, French, and English.
Since the founding of our agency, Bart has been working with us as our regular freelance copywriter. Originally trained as a lawyer, he has spent the past thirty years mastering the art of crafting words that truly make an impact. And speaking of crafting — he might even be a better cook than a writer (though unfortunately, our clients don’t benefit much from that talent). Bart has been living in Roermond with his girlfriend for several years now, but he’s often just a phone call or video chat away from Amsterdam, where he also works with other clients.
De Bruijn PR has a large network of PR and communication consultants, designers, photographers, and other specialists. These professionals, like us, love a challenge, work hands-on, and are experts in their fields. This allows us to offer our clients a comprehensive, full-service approach.
